HOLLIS workshops for staff, faculty, and advanced researchers
Please join Fred Burchsted and Emily Coolidge Toker for a delightful romp through some of the fancy HOLLIS features. Previously offered just to staff, we’re extending the invitation to faculty and graduate students (or other advanced researchers). As such, please sign up if you’re so inclined and feel free to share the following with your constituents.
In the first hour, we will explore searching HOLLIS for books, articles and videos, demonstrate how to narrow your search with facets, how to save your search parameters for later use, and provide a guided tour of advanced search capabilities. The last half hour is an opportunity to crowdsource solutions to questions and concerns with a colleague from Library Technical Services on hand for additional back-end expertise.
Please bring your laptop if convenient, or let us know if you would like to borrow one.
