In Memoriam: Commemorating the Life and Legacy of Christopher Clarkson

This event is sponsort by the New England Chapter of Guild of Book Workers, open to the public.   This is an upcoming event to commemorate the life of Christopher Clarkson. NEGBW will be hosting a program on the life and lasting influence of the late book historian and conservator Christopher Clarkson. The program will feature a panel of Clarkson's friends and associates speaking of their memories of Clarkson as a friend, mentor and fellow conservator, and offering their assessments of his legacy to book conservation and the emerging academic study of the history of the book. Following the presentation, the panel will open up the floor for discussion.       Publications by and about Clarkson will be on display and light refreshments will be available.
