The Massachusetts Historical Society's 8th annual GRADUATE STUDENT
RECEPTION will take place on Thursday, September 28, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at
1154 Boylston Street in Boston (corner of Boylston and the Fenway).

There will be complimentary drinks and hearty hors d'oeuvres,
behind-the-scenes tours, and ample time for mingling with MHS staff and
colleagues from other universities. Our goal is to acquaint faculty and
students with our collections, fellowship programs, brown-bag lunches,
and seminar series. We also hope to show that the MHS is friendly and
accessible, and that our collections support a wide range of projects
(including 20th- and 21st-century ones!), and to provide a space for you
to meet and network with other people in your fields. Last but not
least, it's our way of thanking local students and faculty for the
support they show our institution throughout the year.

All graduate students and faculty who study American history and related
fields are welcome, including those who have joined us in the past.
