Please join us in MIT Libraries Wunsch Conservation Laboratory on Tuesday, March 27th from 5:30-8:00pm to learn about the Unlocking History team's research on letterlocking, the folding and securing of an epistolary writing substrate to become its own envelope.
Jana Dambrogio, Thomas F. Peterson (1957) Conservator, will will give a brief presentation. Each attendee will receive a locked letter to open and take away.
The Wunsch Conservation Laboratory is located in Hayden Memorial Library (building 14-0513). Attendees are asked to make their way to the Hayden Circulation Desk by 5:20pm. Participants will then be escorted to the lab.
