International Symposium on Jesuit Studies: Jesuits and Their Journals
Date and Time
Location
Throughout its history, the Society of Jesus has profoundly influenced intellectual and cultural discourse through a wide range of print media, including journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals. These publications have served as vital platforms for theological and philosophical reflection, scientific inquiry, political commentary, and global dialogue both within and beyond the Society.
In collaboration with the Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry, the International Symposium explores the history, impact, and ongoing evolution of Jesuit periodicals—from their origins to the present—and the debates and outcomes they have inspired. Scholars are invited to submit papers that engage with these and related themes.
