We are pleased to announce that the Harvard-Yale Graduate Conference in Book History on Thursday, April 30 will not be cancelled but will instead take place virtually.
The conference will feature two panels of graduate student papers, with faculty chairs and respondents discussing this year's theme: "The Stakes of Book History." "Zoom in" to hear our participants present their research and to reflect on historical, methodological, and pedagogical questions about the field of book history in its past and current forms.
The conference will begin at 1pm and run for approximately three hours. Please feel free to contact Colton Valentine (colton.valentine@yale.edu), Ben Card (ben.card@yale.edu), and Eve Houghton (eve.houghton@yale.edu) with any additional questions--and we'll have more details on how to join the conference virtually closer to the date. All best wishes, Eve, Colton, and Ben
