The Exhibition War of Words: A Citizen’s-Eye View of the Revolution is now open in Houghton’s main exhibition space. With a few exceptions for University holidays and events, it is open Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm. There will also be a special opportunity to view the exhibition from 12-3 on Saturday, July 4th (no registration required).
From the first protests against British taxation to the treaty that ended the war, War of Words brings together the posters, pamphlets, newspapers, and images that brought news of the American Revolution to those who lived through it.
