DESCRIPTION:<p class="x_">	<span style="color:black">Harvard University's Standing Committee on Medieval Studies, Boston College's McMullen Museum, The Research Group on Manuscript Evidence, and Digital Medievalist are delighted to co-sponsor the Digital Medieval Studies Institute (DMSI) in its third year.  </span><span style="color:#1155cc"><a href="https://tinyurl.com/DMSI-2025-US" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="https://tinyurl.com/DMSI-2025-US"><span style="color:#1155cc">DMSI 2025 in the US</span></a></span><span style="color:black"> will take place at Cambridge &amp; Boston, MA on 19 March 2025.</span></p><p class="x_">	 </p><p class="x_">	<strong>The first round of applications are due by 30 January 2025, </strong><span style="color:black">but we will continue to review applications until all workshop places are filled.</span></p><p class="x_">	 </p><p class="x_">	<span style="color:black">The DMSI 2025 presents a full-day program featuring workshops on digital scholarly methods specifically tailored for medievalists and pre-modernists. The day-long DMSI introduces participants to a range of digital methodologies currently in use within the field of medieval studies and offers in-depth exploration through one of five workshop offerings on each day. </span></p><p class="x_">	 </p><p class="x_">	<span style="color:black">DMSI 2025 US will feature the following five workshops:</span></p><p class="x_" style="margin-left:47.25pt">	<span><span><span style="color:black">·  </span></span></span><span style="color:black">Rendering Spaces Virtually Using Photogrammetry (Rachel Chamberlain)</span></p><p class="x_" style="margin-left:47.25pt">	<span><span><span style="color:black">·  </span></span></span><span style="color:black">Rendering 3D Artifacts for Virtual Exhibits Using Photogrammetry (Antonio LoPiano)</span></p><p class="x_" style="margin-left:47.25pt">	<span><span><span style="color:black">·  </span></span></span><span style="color:black">Mapping Humanities: The Medieval Version (Kahil Sawan)</span></p><p class="x_" style="margin-left:47.25pt">	<span><span><span style="color:black">·  </span></span></span><span style="color:black">Networking Old English Charters Using Gephi (David Thomas)</span></p><p class="x_" style="margin-left:47.25pt">	<span><span><span style="color:black">·  </span></span></span><span style="color:black">Digitizing Manuscripts (Anthony Harris &amp; Sara Powell) </span></p><p class="x_">	 </p><p class="x_">	<strong>For more information and to apply: </strong><strong>https://tinyurl.com/DMSI-2025-US</strong></p><p class="x_">	 </p><p class="x_">	<span style="color:black">Applications are open to everyone. We do have a limited number of bursaries for the event. A maximum of 8-10 participants will be accepted into each workshop.
