DESCRIPTION:<p>	<a href="https://www.simonandschuster.com/authors/Tana-Wojczuk/143905073">Tana Wojczuk</a> joins Houghton Library for a lunch talk about her <a href="https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Lady-Romeo/Tana-Wojczuk/9781501199523">debut biography</a> <em>Lady Romeo: The Radical, Revolutionary Life of Charlotte Cushman, America's First Celebrity</em> (Simon &amp; Schuster, 2020). Wojczuk will highlight materials from the Harvard Theatre Collection while exploring the remarkable life and cultural impact of the queer, 19th-century Shakespearean actress.</p><p>	Tana is a senior nonfiction editor at Guernica magazine and teaches writing at New York University. She has an MFA in nonfiction from Columbia University where she formerly taught. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, she now lives in Brooklyn, New York.<br><br>Please note that this talk will be recorded and made available online sometime after the event.<br> </p>
