Devon will talk about the extensive research she did on the books that the beloved characters were reading and how she worked with the film makers to create authentic versions to be used. She also had the experience of being in the movie! As the widely anticipated version of this famous novel will be released Christmas Day, this will be a fun, behind-the-scenes evening for our members. Acting in this adaptation are: Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Laura Dern, Chris Cooper, Abby Quinn and Timothy Chalament. Some of the scenes were filmed in the Boston Arboretum. The adjoining photograph shows some of the cast and crew in the Arboretum.
