SUMMARY:Exhibit: Analog Culture: Printer’s Proofs from the Schneider/Erdman Photography Lab, 1981–2001
DESCRIPTION:
This summer, the Harvard Art Museums are offering several programs inspired by our current exhibition Analog Culture: Printer’s Proofs from the Schneider/Erdman Photography Lab, 1981–2001 (May 19–August 12, 2018). With stunning photographs by such well-known artists as Richard Avedon, Nan Goldin, and Peter Hujar, the exhibition showcases the printing work of Gary Schneider and John Erdman, performed in their New York lab during the 1980s and ’90s. Our related programs highlight some of the issues explored in the exhibition, including queer culture, the materiality of film, and the process of printing.

	Harvard Art Museums
32 Quincy Street
Cambridge, MA
