 

#  COGUT Institute for the Humanities at Brown University: Campus Highlight: Tara Nummedal on Collaborative Humanities

Mellon Foundation.

 *Furnace and Fugue* is the digital edition of Michael Maier's *Atalanta fugiens* (1618), complete with images of the original emblem book, translations into English, musical transcriptions, sound recordings, and scholarly essays. Tara Nummedal also recently taught a collaborative humanities graduate seminar on premodern art-science with History colleague Harold Cook and in partnership with faculty at the University of Minnesota. She speaks with us about her collaborative work.
