 The author and presenter, Richard Kopley, is a serious book collector in addition to be a literary scholar who grounds his work in publishing history and bibliography. His talk will feature a series of vignettes from Poe's life that turn on his several discoveries of sources that influenced Poe derived from dogged archival and bibliographical research. Attendees will be treated to a display of selections from Richard's collection complemented by selections from our Burns Library holdings. And also to a nice beer/wine/hors d'oeuvres reception.
