The show invites visitors to step into Gorey's mind and wander among his iconic characters, creatures, spaces and objects. The manuscripts, drawings, and published works on view are drawn from across Houghton's deep Gorey holdings. Meet the curators and be among the first to view a dazzling new addition to the collection: more than a dozen original drawings made by Gorey for his Eliot House roommate, Tony Smith. Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Registration is encouraged but not required.
