 Five College Seminar in Book History

 Kathy Roberts Forde is Professor of Journalism and Associate Dean of Equity &amp; Inclusion at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is co-editor of the new book *[Journalism and Jim Crow: White Supremacy and the Black Struggle for a New America](https://journalismandjimcrow.com/)* (University of Illinois Press). Her book *Literary Journalism on Trial: Masson v. New Yorker and the First Amendment* won the Frank Luther Mott/KTA and AEJMC History Book Awards. She is twice a winner of the AEJMC Covert Award for best article in media history.
