Houghton-Medieval Studies lecture and workshops in early book history will feature [Julian Weiss](http://www.kcl.ac.uk/artshums/depts/splas/people/staff/academic/weiss/index.aspx) from King's College London. Julian's lecture (*In the Tracks of Josephus: Reading Jewish History and Belief in the Early Modern Hispanic and Lusophone Worlds, 1492-1687*) will take place at Houghton (Edison &amp; Newman Room) at 5:30 on Monday 20 March. He'll also be leading two workshops at the Houghton that Thursday (23 March, 10 am and 2 pm) on "Creating Vernacular 'Literature' in Renaissance Spain and Portugal", which will allow participants to get up close and personal with a number of Houghton's Iberian manuscripts and early books.
