At the Weissman Preservation Center, Debora Mayer and Kelli Piotrowski will guide us through the process of looking at papers with the emphasis on the plant sources they are made from. Participants will be able to handle different types of papers, examine paper surfaces and see images of fibers taken with optical microscopy. They will also share the process of Identifying paper fibers with microscopy.
