Join Houghton Library as we virtually host Part 3 of the Emily Dickinson Museum Poetry Marathon, which runs September 20–26. Produced by the[ Emily Dickinson Museum](https://www.emilydickinsonmuseum.org/) as part of the (remote)[ Tell It Slant Poetry Festival](https://www.emilydickinsonmuseum.org/tell-it-slant-poetry-festival/), the marathon is a group reading of all 1,789 poems by Emily Dickinson. Participants read from Ralph Franklin’s The Poems of Emily Dickinson: Reading Edition (no copy required; text is displayed on the screen). Houghton Library is[ home to manuscripts for more than 1,000](https://library.harvard.edu/collections/emily-dickinson-collection) of these poems.

This year's virtual Marathon falls across seven two-hour sessions hosted by Festival partners. Readers and listeners may choose to participate in one or all sessions but must register in advance. Reading slots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.[ Register to join Houghton on Wednesday, September 22nd!](https://my.eventcadence.com/events/tell-it-slant-poetry-festival/#/schedule/at-a-glance)

The Tell It Slant Poetry Festival is a free event that celebrates the poetic legacy of Emily Dickinson and the contemporary creativity she inspires.
