 New Directions: Black Print Culture and Archives,” the first of two linked roundtables organized by the Mahindra Humanities Center Seminar in Book History, featuring:

 **Nicole Aljoe** (Northeastern University), "Voices from Below: Re-Considering the Narrative Authority of ‘Footnotes’ in Colonial Archives.”

 **Laura Helton** (University of Delaware), "Metadata for the Lost &amp; Found"

 **Steven Booth** (Johnson Publishing Company Archive, Blackivists) and Raquel Flores-Clemons (Chicago State, Blackivists), "Diamond in the Back: Excavating Chicago’s Black Cultural and Material Heritage"

 The second roundtable featuring **Tara Bynum**, **Jean-Christophe Cloutier**, **Jarvis Givens**, and **Elizabeth McHenry** will take place on February 8, 2022, 5:00-6:30 EST
