# Digital Medieval Studies Institute (DMSI) #### calendar\_today Date and Time **March 19, 2025** All day #### pin\_drop Location **Cambridge and Boston MA** Harvard University's Standing Committee on Medieval Studies, Boston College's McMullen Museum, The Research Group on Manuscript Evidence, and Digital Medievalist are delighted to co-sponsor the Digital Medieval Studies Institute (DMSI) in its third year. [DMSI 2025 in the US](https://tinyurl.com/DMSI-2025-US) will take place at Cambridge & Boston, MA on 19 March 2025. **The first round of applications are due by 30 January 2025,** but we will continue to review applications until all workshop places are filled. The DMSI 2025 presents a full-day program featuring workshops on digital scholarly methods specifically tailored for medievalists and pre-modernists. The day-long DMSI introduces participants to a range of digital methodologies currently in use within the field of medieval studies and offers in-depth exploration through one of five workshop offerings on each day. DMSI 2025 US will feature the following five workshops: · Rendering Spaces Virtually Using Photogrammetry (Rachel Chamberlain) · Rendering 3D Artifacts for Virtual Exhibits Using Photogrammetry (Antonio LoPiano) · Mapping Humanities: The Medieval Version (Kahil Sawan) · Networking Old English Charters Using Gephi (David Thomas) · Digitizing Manuscripts (Anthony Harris & Sara Powell) **For more information and to apply: ** Applications are open to everyone. We do have a limited number of bursaries for the event. A maximum of 8-10 participants will be accepted into each workshop.
